Shamrock Property

The Shamrock property is comprised of 72 mining claims and covers an area of 14 square kilometres. The property is located on the north side of the Yukon River, approximately five km from the northern boundary of the Kinross White Gold property. The 2009 field program consisted of reconnaissance-scale deep auger soil sampling and prospecting. A total of 141 soil samples and 18 rock samples were collected for assay.

The results from the 2009 soil geochemistry were generally low. However, two spot anomalies were identified which returned 32 ppb gold and 242 ppm arsenic respectively. No rock samples were taken in the vicinity of the anomalous soil samples. An airborne magnetometer survey over the Shamrock property in early spring of 2011 did not result in the identification of any significant exploration targets. Accordingly, no additional work was carried out on the Shamrock property as part of the 2011 Dawson Gold program.
